The absolute best chocolate cake ever! It’s so incredibly moist and the icing is to die for!
Mimi Joy has made this cake 1000’s of times. She added the cinnamon to the recipe and it just makes it extra special. This was Lane Frosts’ favorite cake. Lane was a bull rider and was my husband, Ty Murray’s, traveling partner for rodeos. The movie “8 Seconds” is based on his life and legacy.
Tips
- I double the frosting! The recipe I share is with the frosting already doubled.
- Try using hot coffee instead of hot water for another special twist.
