Oh there’s nothing like a delicious bowl of warming chili on a cold day, especially served with a side of piping hot buttery cornbread! My Mama has been making the chili with beans since I was little and it’s always a favorite and requested recipe.
It’s so simple and you can make this on the stovetop (one pot meal) or in the crockpot (a two pot meal). It’ll be your new go to chili recipe for the simplicity of it and the delicious taste! I highly suggest doubling the recipe for a crowd or leftovers freeze great!
This is a healthy recipe but can be made lower fat by choosing 96% lean beef.
Don’t forget the Skillet Cornbread!
