Spooky Spiders, Fall Acorns & Pumpkins!
Having a child has given me a reason to be creative in new ways.
I remember many days when I was young, watching my Mama getting lost in creative projects for my sisters and I. She was the queen of making puff-paint sweatshirts, helping with our school projects, throwing incredible themed birthday parties (where she made all the decor and food), & making homemade Christmas ornaments, cookies and treats.
I’m so thankful I inherited the creative gene from my Mama. I’m not a great artist by any means. I’m not a perfectionist so everything I make has many imperfections… but I so enjoy making creative homemade gifts & treats.
These fall treats are perfect for the kids in your life. They are fun to make, easy, and fairly healthier than many desserts can be!
These pumpkins are so adorable. It turns eating a mandarin or a clementine into a fun experience for kids! All you do is peel your mandarin, put a little green icing in the center hole & put a half of a green candy Mike-&-Ike in for the stem! You can use the green icing to make leaf if you’d like. Refrigerate until ready to serve!
How cute are these Spooky Spiders? S0 easy to make and Oakley just loved them.
Using double or mega stuffed Oreos, break 3 pretzel sticks in half and gently place them in the frosting on each side for the legs.
Put two drops of red icing on top of the Oreo for the eyes and then put two edible candy eyeballs on top of the red icing or use mini M&M’s if you can’t find the eyeballs.
These fall acorns are perfect! So cute for adults or for kids because acorns just feel like fall!
Twist a mini Nutter Butter cookie in half. Spread a little peanut butter of choice on the inside of each half.
Stick a dark chocolate Hershey kiss to the peanut butter.
Spread a tiny bit of peanut butter on a mini chocolate chip and stick that to the top of the Nutter Butter.
Refrigerate until ready to serve!
