While Ty and our friend Luke were working with the horses, I made a batch of the perfect 50% whole wheat biscuits. After eating a few of them with honey & butter, I joined the men down at the corrals and worked with my new Clydesdale, Sioux, for the first time.
After working with the horses I headed back to the house to get lunch together for all of us. I wanted to make something to go with my biscuits that was quick & easy. I was out of deli meat and the only meat I had thawed was ground turkey. Thus these incredible turkey patties were born.
These sliders are super healthy & full of protein. Note the nutrition is calculated for just the turkey patty, not the slider as your choice or cheese and bread may differ than mine! Or you may just want eat these patties as they are with a salad or a couple sides for a low carb meal. The biscuits were perfect for the sliders but if you haven’t made a batch or don’t have any of the uncooked biscuits frozen, they would be tasty on a store bought bun, roll or biscuit.
